Prom Hairstyles for Long Hair

Secure your loose bun with the second ponytail holder and bobby pins. Finish your style with a spritz of hairspray. You can allow the ends to stick out for a more youthful look. Sassy messy updo: Another option for a medium to long prom hairstyle is the sassy updo. You will need a leave-in conditioner or detangler, styling cream, gel, paddle brush, curling iron, and blow dryer. Blow-dry your hair until it is completely dry, separating it into 2 by 4 inch sections. Make sure to aim the airflow from the root to the ends. After parting your hair in the front (2 inches from the hairline), make a horizontal part from ear to ear. Separate your hair along this part and pull the lower half of your hair into low ponytail with an elastic.
